About us

Melbourne heritage, trusted for decades

AAtech is an IT professional services practice based in Melbourne, Australia, with more than 20 years of experience helping organisations design, run, and evolve their technology.

Our history

AAtech began when a small group of senior consultants chose to focus on one thing: doing dependable IT work without the noise—clear advice, careful execution, and long-term relationships instead of one-off projects that never stick.

From early work stabilising on-premises infrastructure and email systems for local businesses, we grew alongside the shift to cloud, mobility, and distributed teams. Each wave of technology brought new complexity; our response was to invest in depth—security, networking, and operations—so clients could adopt change without losing control of cost or risk.

Today we support a mix of established enterprises and growing companies across Australia. Our team still operates from Melbourne, drawing on the same hands-on ethos: we show up, we document what we do, and we align technology decisions to how your organisation actually runs day to day.

Whether you need managed operations, cloud and AI initiatives, contractor capacity, or help trimming waste through cost-saving reviews, you are working with people who have seen cycles of hype and consolidation—and who know how to separate durable value from short-lived trends.
